2011 New Years Eve Weekend
A historic rash of Fifty three arson fires allegedly set by one suspect during the 2011 New Years Eve weekend kept Los Angeles City and County firefighters scrambling. The fires set within
minutes and blocks of each other required a large number of resources from both departments to keep up with the incidents spread over four nights. Many of the fires in the video begin before or as fire equipment is arriving. The
video ends with the arrest of the alleged suspect. No fires matching the MO of the previous fifty three fires have occurred since the arrest.

This 50 minute production features responses to working fires with the Buffalo, Boston, and Burbank, CA fire departments in 2010. The fires in the City of Buffalo, NY are on the Fourth of July
2010. You will be responding with Ladder 14 and Engine 31 of the Buffalo FD to several fires with exclusive first due action. The Boston segment covers a 2nd Alarm in a three decker and the Burbank segment covers two
2nd alarms in a residential and a commercial building.

This production was filmed nearly twenty years ago in 1991 using a single chip Hi-Eight camera. Some of you will recognize the faces that did not survive

filmed at the Paso Robles Air Attack Base in Paso Robles, CA during the 1999 Kirk Complex in Big Sur. Most of these vintage tankers have now been placed out of service.

Firestorm 2009 - Volumes 1 & 2
Volume 1... This volume covers the "Jesusita Fire" in Santa Barbara, CA and the "Guiberson Fire" in Fillmore, CA. The Jesusita Fire exhibiting extreme
fire behavior driven by 70 mph Sundowner winds destroyed 160 structures and over 8000 acres. The air show provided fantastic close up action of tanker ops. The Guiberson Fire was the only notable
wind driven fire of the fall season destroying one structure and 17,000 acres providing good air show and hand crew action.
Running Time: 54 minutes.
Volume 2... This volume covers the "La Brea Fire" in the Los Padres Nat. Forest and the "Sheep Fire" in San Bernardino County, CA. The La Brea Fire for video purposes was mostly
an air show. It burned 90,000 acres and provided excellent close action of P-3's, P-2's CAL FIRE S-2's and the Martin Mars. The Sheep Fire in Lone Pine Cyn. exhibited extreme fire behavior destroying
three structures and 8000 acres while threatening the town of Wrightwood. Ground, air, and dozer ops are featured along with accompanying radio traffic.

Station Fire - August 2009
The Station Fire which started in the Angeles National Forest on August 26th, 2009 during triple digit temperatures and single digit
humidities grew to be the largest wildland fire in Los Angeles County history and the tenth largest in the state of California. The arson caused fire claimed
the lives of two firefighters, destroyed 89 residences, 22 commercial buildings, and 94 outbuildings. The fuel and terrain driven fire exhibited very extreme
fire behavior leading to the destruction of 160,577 acres, or over 250 square miles.
